New look Tote Ten to Follow launches for the Jumps Season

Monday 25th October 2021

Today, the new look Tote Ten to Follow is back for the 2021/22 Jumps season.

The ultimate season-long fantasy game is once again only £5 (€5.50 for Irish customers) to play, with racing fans assembling a stable of ten horses having the chance to win a share of the minimum £100,000 prize pool. There is also a free-to-play competition (maximum one entry per person) with racing-themed prizes.

In the 2020/21 Jumps season Ten to Follow the winner, Robert Lynch, took home £104,832.

The 2021/22 Jumps season competition opened today at 11am. Stables must be registered by 11am on Saturday 13th November, with selections within stables able to be changed freely until the deadline.

The competition runs until 7pm on Saturday 9th April 2022, at the end of the Randox Grand National Festival.

There will be a seven-day transfer window at the start of March ahead of the Cheltenham Festival.

There are several new features for this season’s competition to help racing fans with winning stables, including:

  • Smart Pick Algorithm : A smart pick auto-fill algorithm will help racing fans select the best horses for their stables. Using historical data and Ten to Follow performance, the algorithm has been optimised to pick horse combinations which will score the most points across the season. This includes targeting bonus races, selecting “bankers”, and picking wildcard horses which can make the all-important difference.

  • Popularity and historical data: Horses can be sorted by “percentage picked” which highlights the share of stables each one is in, along with historical performance data and the Racing Post verdict.

Players score points when one of their horses wins or places, with points calculated based on the quality of the race and price of the horse. There are 25 bonus races which will return an additional 25 points to the winner and 12 to the runner up.

The full list of eligible horses, scoring system, and rules are available on tote.co.uk.
